I've been a State Farm agent in the Portland, Oregon area for over 20 years, helping thousands of individuals and families protect their vehicles and manage their insurance costs. My office works with a wide range of drivers, from first-time drivers and college students to families with multiple vehicles, retirees, and business owners.

Because we review policies every day, I've seen firsthand what actually causes prices to increase and, more importantly, what ideas consistently help customers lower their costs without sacrificing the protection they need. I've helped customers create meaningful savings annually through a combination of coverage reviews, multi-policy discounts, safe driving programs, vehicle selection decisions, and deductible adjustments.

One of the biggest misconceptions I encounter is that lowering car insurance always means reducing coverage. In reality, many drivers are overpaying because their policies haven't been reviewed in years, they're missing discounts they qualify for, or their coverage no longer matches their current situation. My experience has shown that one ideal way to lower insurance costs is through a strategic review of risk, coverage needs, and available discounts rather than simply choosing the cheapest policy.

Over the years, I've worked with drivers throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Nevada, giving me extensive experience with the factors that impact rates in the Western US, including driving records, claim history, vehicle types, annual mileage, urban versus rural locations, and local insurance requirements.
